Revelation 1

A revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave to Him to show to His bondservants which things must come to be in quickness, and He signified it, having sent through His angel to His bondservant John.

Who testified the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ as many things as he saw.

Blessed is the one reading and the ones hearing the words of the prophecy and keeping the things written in it, for the time is near.

John to the seven assemblies, to the ones in Asia: Grace to you all and peace from the One being and the One Who was and the One coming, and from the seven spirits which are before His throne,

and from Jesus Christ, the Witness, the faithful One, the First-born of the dead ones, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth, to the One loving us and having released us out from our sins in His blood,

and He made us a kingdom, priests to God, and His Father, to Him the glory and the might into the ages [of the ages]. Amen.

Behold, He comes with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, and whichever ones pierced Him, and all the tribes of the earth will strike themselves over Him. Yes! Amen.

I Myself am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord God, the One being, and the One Who was, and the One coming, the Almighty.

I, John, the brother of you and partaker together in the oppression and kingdom and patience in Jesus, came to be in the island, the one being called Patmos, on account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

I came to be in spirit in the Lord’s day and heard behind me a great sound as of a trumpet,

saying, “What you see, write into a book and send it to the seven assemblies, into Ephesus, and into Smyrna, and into Pergamos, and into Thyatira, and into Sardis, and into Philadelphia, and into Laodicea.”

And I turned to see the voice which was speaking with me and having turned, I saw seven golden lampstands,

and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man, clothed to the feet and girded around toward the breasts with a golden belt.

And His head, even the hairs, white as wool, white as snow, and His eyes as a flame of fire.

And His feet similar to fine brass, as in a furnace set on fire, and His voice as a sound of many waters.

And having in His right hand seven stars, and going out from His mouth a sharp two-edged sword, and His face as the sun shines in the power of it.

And when I saw Him, I fell toward His feet as dead, and He placed His right hand upon me, saying: “Do not fear, I Myself am the First and the Last,

and the One living, and I came to be dead, and behold, I am living into the ages of the ages, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.”

Therefore write the things which you saw and which things are and which things are about to come to be after these things.

The mystery of the seven stars which you saw upon My right hand, and the seven lampstands, the golden ones, the seven stars are angels of the seven assemblies, and the seven lampstands are the seven assemblies.
