Galatians 1

Paul, an apostle, not from men, not even through a man, but through Jesus Christ and God Father, the One having raised Him out from dead ones,

and all the brethren with me, to the assemblies of Galatia:

Grace to you all and peace from God our Father and Lord Jesus Christ.

The One having given Himself on behalf of our sins, so that He might extract us out from the age, the present evil one, according to the will of our God and Father,

to Whom be the glory into the ages of the ages. Amen.

I marvel that you so quickly transfer from the One having called you in grace of Christ into another gospel,

which is not another, except there are the ones troubling you, and desiring to pervert the gospel of Christ.

But even if we or an angel out from heaven might preach a gospel to you alongside that which we preached, then let him be accursed.

As we have said before and now I say again; since a certain one preaches a gospel to you alongside that which you received, then let him be accursed.

For do I now persuade men or God? Or do I seek to please men? If I was still pleasing men, then I was not a bondservant of Christ.

For I make known to you, brethren, the gospel, the one having been preached by me, that it is not according to man.

For not even I myself received it from man, neither was I taught, but through a revelation of Jesus Christ.

For you heard of my conduct once in Judaism, that according to excess I was pursuing the assembly of God, and I was destroying it.

And I was advancing in Judaism over many peers among my race, being more abundantly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.

But when God, the One having separated me out from my mother’s womb and having called through His grace was pleased

to reveal His Son in me, in order that I might preach Him among the nations, immediately I did not consult with flesh and blood,

I neither went up into Jerusalem toward the apostles before me, but I departed into Arabia and again I returned into Damascus.

Furthermore after three years I went up into Jerusalem to question Cephas and continued toward him fifteen days.

But other apostles I saw not, except James, the brother of the Lord.

And what things I write to you, behold, before God that I do not lie.

Furthermore I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia.

And I was being unknown by the face to the assemblies of Judea, the ones in Christ.

And only they were hearing that, the one pursuing us once, now preaches the faith which he once was destroying,

and they were glorifying God in me.
