Revelation

CHAPTER 1

1 A revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave to Him to show to His bondservants which things must come to be in quickness, and He signified it, having sent through His angel to His bondservant John.

2 Who testified the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ as many things as he saw.

3 Blessed is the one reading and the ones hearing the words of the prophecy and keeping the things written in it, for the time is near.

4 John to the seven assemblies, to the ones in Asia: Grace to you all and peace from the One being and the One Who was and the One coming, and from the seven spirits which are before His throne,

5 and from Jesus Christ, the Witness, the faithful One, the First-born of the dead ones, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth, to the One loving us and having released us out from our sins in His blood,

6 and He made us a kingdom, priests to God, and His Father, to Him the glory and the might into the ages [of the ages]. Amen.

7 Behold, He comes with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, and whichever ones pierced Him, and all the tribes of the earth will strike themselves over Him. Yes! Amen.

8 I Myself am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord God, the One being, and the One Who was, and the One coming, the Almighty.

9 I, John, the brother of you and partaker together in the oppression and kingdom and patience in Jesus, came to be in the island, the one being called Patmos, on account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

10 I came to be in spirit in the Lord’s day and heard behind me a great sound as of a trumpet,

11 saying, “What you see, write into a book and send it to the seven assemblies, into Ephesus, and into Smyrna, and into Pergamos, and into Thyatira, and into Sardis, and into Philadelphia, and into Laodicea.”

12 And I turned to see the voice which was speaking with me and having turned, I saw seven golden lampstands,

13 and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man, clothed to the feet and girded around toward the breasts with a golden belt.

14 And His head, even the hairs, white as wool, white as snow, and His eyes as a flame of fire.

15 And His feet similar to fine brass, as in a furnace set on fire, and His voice as a sound of many waters.

16 And having in His right hand seven stars, and going out from His mouth a sharp two-edged sword, and His face as the sun shines in the power of it.

17 And when I saw Him, I fell toward His feet as dead, and He placed His right hand upon me, saying: “Do not fear, I Myself am the First and the Last,

18 and the One living, and I came to be dead, and behold, I am living into the ages of the ages, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.”

19 Therefore write the things which you saw and which things are and which things are about to come to be after these things.

20 The mystery of the seven stars which you saw upon My right hand, and the seven lampstands, the golden ones, the seven stars are angels of the seven assemblies, and the seven lampstands are the seven assemblies.

CHAPTER 2

1 To the angel of the assembly in Ephesus write: These things says the One seizing the seven stars in His right hand, the One walking in the midst of the seven lampstands, the golden ones.

2 I know your works, and your labor and patience, and that you are not able to bear evil ones, and you tested the ones calling themselves apostles, and they are not, and you found them liars,

3 and you have patience and carried on account of My name and have not tired.

4 But I have against you that you released your first love.

5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the first works, and if not, then I come to you and will move your lampstand out from its place, if you might not repent.

6 But this you have, that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

7 The one having an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To the one conquering, I will give to him to eat out from the tree of the life which is in the paradise of God.

8 And to the angel of the assembly in Smyrna write: These things says the First and the Last, Who came to be dead and lived.

9 I know your oppression and poverty, but you are rich, and the blasphemy out from the ones saying themselves to be Jews, and they are not, but a synagogue of the Satan.

10 Do not fear which things you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some outfrom you into prison in order that you might be tested, and you will have oppression ten days. Come to be faithful until death, and I will give to you the crown of life.

11 The one having an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. The one conquering might absolutely not be harmed out from the second death.

12 And to the angel of the assembly in Pergamos write: These things says the One having the large sharp two-edged sword.

13 I know where you dwell, where the throne of Satan is, and you seize My name, and did not deny My faith, even in the days which Antipas My faithful witness, who was killed beside you, where Satan dwells.

14 But I have against you a few things, that you have there some seizing the teaching of Balaam, who was teaching to Balak to cast an offense before the sons of Israel, to eat idol-sacrifices and to prostitute.

15 So also, you yourself have ones seizing the teaching of the Nicolaitans, likewise.

16 Repent therefore, and if not, then I come to you quickly and I will war with them in the sword of My mouth.

17 The one having an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To the one conquering, I will give to him of the hidden manna, and I will give to him a white pebble, and upon the pebble a new name written, which no one knows except the one receiving it.

18 And to the angel of the assembly in Thyatira write: These things says the Son of God, the One having His eyes as a flame of fire and His feet similar to burnished bronze.

19 I know your works and your love and faith and service and patience, and your last works are more than the first.

20 But I have against you that you release the woman Jezebel, the one calling herself a prophetess, and she teaches and misleads My bondservants to prostitute and to eat things sacrificed to idols.

21 And I gave her time in order that she might repent, and she desires not to repent out from her prostitution.

22 Behold, I cast her into a bed and the ones committing adultery with her into great oppression, if they might not repent out from her works.

23 And her children I will kill in death, and all the assemblies will know that I Myself am the One searching the kidneys and the hearts, and I will give to you, to each one according to your works.

24 And to you I say, to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this teaching, whichever ones did not know the deep things of Satan, as they say, I do not cast upon you another burden.

25 Howbeit, that which you have, seize until of which when I might come.

26 And the one conquering, and the one keeping My works until the end, I will give to him authority upon the nations,

27 and he will shepherd them in a rod of iron, as the vessels of pottery are crushed together,

28 as I also have received from My Father, and I will give to him the morning star.

29 The one having an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.

CHAPTER 3

1 And to the angel of the assembly in Sardis write: These things says the One having the seven spirits of God and the seven stars: I know your works, that you have a name that you live and you are dead.

2 Come to be watchful and establish the things remaining which are about to die, for I have not found your works fulfilled before My God.

3 Remember therefore how you have received and heard, and keep watch and repent. Therefore, if you might not watch, then I will come as a thief and you might absolutely not know what hour I will come upon you.

4 But you have a few names in Sardis who did not stain their garments, and they will walk with Me in white because they are worthy.

5 The one conquering so, will wrap himself in white garments and I will absolutely not wipe out his name out from the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

6 The one having an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.

7 And to the angel of the assembly in Philadelphia write: These things says the One holy, the One true, the One having the key of David, the One opening and no one will shut, and shutting and no one opens.

8 I know your works. Behold, I have given before you a door opened, which no one is able to shut it, because you have little power and you kept My word, and did not deny My name.

9 Behold, I give those out from the synagogue of Satan, the ones saying of themselves to be Jews and are not, but they are liars; behold I will make them in order that they will come and they will bow down before your feet, and they might know that I Myself loved you.

10 Because you kept the word of My patience, I also will keep you out from the hour of trial, the one going to come upon the whole inhabited world, to test all the ones dwelling upon the earth.

11 I come quickly, seize what you have, in order that no one might take your crown.

12 The one conquering, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he might absolutely not go outside anymore, and I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, descending out from the heaven from My God, and My new name.

13 The one having an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.

14 And to the angel of the assembly in Laodicea write: These things says the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God.

15 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were cold or hot.

16 So because you are lukewarm and neither hot nor cold, I am about to vomit you out from My mouth.

17 Because you say that, “I am rich, and have enriched, and I have not even one need,” and you know not that you yourself are the one miserable and pitiful and poor and blind and naked.

18 I counsel with you to buy from Me gold set on fire, in order that you might be rich, and white garments out from fire, in order that you might wrap yourself and the shame of your nakedness might not be manifested, and eye salve to anoint your eyes, in order that you might see.

19 If as many as I Myself might love, then I expose and train. Be zealous therefore and repent.

20 Behold, I have stood upon the door and I knock, if a certain one might hear My voice and might open the door, then I will [also] enter toward him, and I will dine with him and he with Me.

21 The one conquering, I will give to him to sit with Me in My throne, as I also conquered and sat down with My Father in His throne.

22 The one having an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.

CHAPTER 4

1 After these things I saw, and behold, a door opened in the heaven, and the first voice which I heard as a trumpet, speaking with me, saying: Come up here and I will show to you which things are necessary to come to be after these things.

2 Immediately I came to be in spirit, and behold, a throne was lying in the heaven and One sitting upon the throne.

3 And the One sitting similar in appearance to a jasper stone, and a sardine, and a rainbow around the throne, similar in appearance to an emerald.

4 And around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and upon the thrones, twenty-four elders sitting, wrapped in white garments, and golden crowns upon their heads.

5 And out from the throne go out lightnings and sounds and thunders, and seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven spirits of God.

6 And before the throne as a glassy sea, similar to crystal. And in the midst of the throne and around the throne, four living creatures full of eyes in-front and behind.

7 And the first living creature similar to a lion, and the second living creature similar to a calf, and the third living creature having the face as of a man, and the fourth living creature similar to a flying eagle.

8 And the four living creatures, one against one of them having six wings each, around and within full of eyes, and they do not have rest of day and night, saying: “Holy, Holy, Holy, the Lord God, the Almighty, the One Who was, and the One being, and the One coming.

9 And whenever the living creatures will give glory and honor and thanksgiving to the One sitting upon the throne, the One living into the ages of the ages,

10 the twenty-four elders will fall before the One sitting upon the throne, and they will bow down to the One living into the ages of the ages, and they will cast their crowns before the throne saying: 11 “Worthy are You, our Lord and God to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because You created all things, and on account of Your will they were and were created.”

CHAPTER 5

1 And I saw upon the right of the One sitting upon the throne a book, written within and behind, sealed with seven seals.

2 And I saw a strong angelpreaching in a great voice: Who is worthy to open the book and to loose its seals?

3 And no one was able, in the heaven, nor upon the earth, nor underneath the earth, to open the book nor to see it.

4 And I was weeping much because no one was found worthy to open the book nor to see it.

5 And one out from the elders says to me: Do not weep, behold, the Lion, the One out from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered to open the book and its seven seals.

6 And I saw, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing, as slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God, sent away into all the earth.

7 And He came and has taken out from the right hand of the One sitting upon the throne.

8 And when He took the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell before the Lamb, having each one a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the holy ones.

9 And they sing a new song, saying: Worthy are You to receive the book and to open its seals, because You were slain and purchased to God in Your blood those out from every tribe and tongue and people and nation.

10 And You have made them a kingship and priests to our God, and they will reign upon the earth.

11 And I looked, and I heard a voice of many angels around the throne, and the living creatures and the elders, and the number of them was ten thousands of ten thousands, and thousands of thousands,

12 saying with a great voice: Worthy is the slain Lamb to receive power and riches and wisdom and force and honor and glory and blessing.

13 And I heard every creature which is in the heaven, and upon the earth, and underneath the earth, and upon the sea, and all the things in them, saying to the One sitting upon the throne and to the Lamb: Blessing and honor and glory and might into the ages of the ages. 14 And the four living creatures were saying: Amen! And the elders fell and worshiped.

CHAPTER 6

1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one out from the seven seals, and I heard one out from the four living creatures saying as a sound of thunder: Come!

2 And I saw, and behold, a white horse, and the one sitting upon it having a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and in order that he might conquer.

3 And when He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying: Come!

4 And another horse went out, a red one, and to the one sitting upon it was given for him to take the peace out from the earth, and in order that they will slay one another, and a great sword was given to him.

5 And when He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying: Come! And I saw, and behold, a black horse, and the one sitting upon it having a yoke in his hand.

6 And I heard as a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying: A quart of grain for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not wrong the olive oil and the wine.

7 And when He opened the fourth seal, I heard a voice of the fourth creature saying: Come!

8 And I saw, and behold, a green horse, and the one sitting above it, a name to him, Death, and Hades was following with him, and authority was given to them upon the fourth of the earth, to kill in sword, and in famine, and in death, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

9 And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of the ones slain on account of the word of God, and on account of the testimony which they were having.

10 And they cried with a great voice saying: Until when, O Master, the One holy and true, do You not judge and avenge our blood out from the ones dwelling upon the earth?

11 And a white robe was given to each one of them, and it was said to them in order that they will rest yet a little time, until also their fellow-bondservants and their brethren, the ones who are going to be killed even as they were, might be fulfilled.

12 And I saw when He opened the sixth seal, and a great earthquake came to be, and the sun came to be black as sackcloth of hair, and the whole moon came to be as blood.

13 And the stars of the heaven fell into the earth, as a fig tree casts its untimely figs, being shaken by a great wind.

14 And the heaven was separated as a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out from their places.

15 And the kings of the earth and the great men and the commanders of thousands and the rich ones and the strong ones and every bondservant and free one hid themselves into the caves and into the rocks of the mountains.

16 And they say to the mountains and to the rocks: Fall upon us and hide us from the face of the One sitting upon the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb,

17 because the great day of Their wrath came, and who is able to stand?

CHAPTER 7

1 After this I saw four angels standing upon the four corners of the earth, seizing the four winds of the earth, in order that a wind might not blow upon the earth nor upon the sea nor upon every tree.

2 And I saw another angel ascending from the sunrise, having a seal of the living God, and cried with a great voice to the four angels to whom it was given to harm the earth and the sea,

3 saying: Do might not harm the earth nor the sea nor the trees, until we might seal the bondservants of our God upon their foreheads.

4 And I heard the number of the ones sealed, a hundred forty-four thousand sealed out from every tribe of the sons of Israel:

5 Out from the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand sealed, out from the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand, out from the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand,

6 out from the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand, out from the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand, out from the tribe of Manasseh, twelve thousand,

7 out from the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand, out from the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand, out from the tribe of Issachar, twelve thousand,

8 out from the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand, out from the tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand, out from the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand sealed.

9 After these things I saw, and behold, a numerous crowd which no one was able to number it, out from every nation and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, wrapped in white robes and palms in their hands.

10 And they cry with a great voice saying: Salvation to our God, the One sitting upon the throne, and to the Lamb.

11 And all the angels had stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell before the throne upon their faces and worshiped God,

12 saying: Amen, blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and force to our God, into the ages of the ages. Amen.

13 And one out from the elders answered, saying to me: These, the ones wrapped in the white robes, who are they and from where did they come?

14 And I have said to him: My lord, you yourself know. And he said to me: These are the ones coming out from the great oppression, and they washed their robes and whitened them in the blood of the Lamb.

15 On account of this they are before the throne of God and they serve Him day and night in His temple, and the One sitting upon the throne will dwell upon them.

16 They will not hunger anymore, nor thirst, nor might the sun nor any heat fall upon them.

17 Because the Lamb, the One above in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and will lead them upon springs of water of life, and God will wipe every tear out from their eyes.

CHAPTER 8

1 And whenever He opened the seventh seal, silence came to be in the heaven about half an hour.

2 And I saw the seven angels who have stood before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

3 And another angel came and stood upon the altar, having a golden censer, and much incense was given to him, in order that he will give it with the prayers of all the holy ones upon the golden altar before the throne.

4 And the smoke of the incense with the prayers of the holy ones ascended out from the hand of the angel before God.

5 And the angel has taken the censer and filled it out from the fire of the altar and cast it into the earth and thunders and sounds and lightnings and an earthquake came to be.

6 And the seven angels, the ones having the seven trumpets, prepared themselves in order that they might sound the trumpets.

7 And the first one trumpeted, and there came to be hail and fire, mixed in blood, and it was cast into the earth, and the third of the earth was burned down, and the third of the trees was burned down, and all green grass was burned down.

8 And the second angel trumpeted, and something like a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea, and the third of the sea came to be blood.

9 And the third of the creatures in the sea, the ones having souls, died, and the third of the boats were destroyed.

10 And the third angel trumpeted, and a great star fell out from the heaven, burning as a lamp, and it fell upon the third of the rivers and upon the springs of waters.

11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood, and the third of the waters came to be into wormwood, and many men died out from the waters because they were made bitter.

12 And the fourth angel trumpeted, and the third of the sun was struck, and the third of the moon, and the third of the stars was struck, in order that the third of them might be darkened, and the day might not shine the third of it, and the night likewise.

13 And I saw, and heard one eagle, flying in midheaven, saying with a great voice: Woe, woe, woe to the ones dwelling upon the earth, out from the remaining sounds of the trumpet of the three angels, of the ones who are going to trumpet.

CHAPTER 9

1 And the fifth angel trumpeted, and I saw a star out from the heaven fallen into the earth, and the key of the well of the abyss was given to him.

2 And he opened the well of the abyss, and smoke ascended out from the well as smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened out from the smoke of the well.

3 And out from the smoke came locusts into the earth, and authority was given to them as the scorpions of the earth have authority.

4 And it was said to them in order that they will not harm the grass of the earth, nor every green thing nor every tree, except the men who do not have the seal of God upon the foreheads.

5 And it was given to them in order that they might not kill them, but in order that they will be tortured five months, and their torture as torture of a scorpion whenever it might sting a man.

6 And in those days men will seek death and will absolutely not find it, and they will desire to die, and death flees from them.

7 And the likenesses of the locusts are similar to horses prepared into war, and upon their heads as crowns similar to gold, and their faces as faces of men.

8 And they were having hair as hair of women, and their teeth were as teeth of lions.

9 And they were having breastplates as iron breastplates, and the sound of their wings as the sound of chariots, of many horses running into war.

10 And they have tails similar to scorpions, and stingers, and in their tails their authority to harm men five months.

11 They have a king over them, the angel of the abyss, the Hebrew name for him is Abaddon, and in the Greek he has a name, Apollyon.

12 The one woe went away, behold, two woes are still to come after these things.

13 And the sixth angel trumpeted, and I heard one voice out from the [[four]] horns of the golden altar, the one before God,

14 saying to the sixth angel, the one having the trumpet, “Loose the four angels, the ones bound over at the great river Euphrates.”

15 And the four angels were loosed, the ones prepared into the hour and day and month and year, in order that they might kill the third of men.

16 And the number of the armies of the horsemen was twenty thousands of ten thousands, I heard the number of them.

17 And so I saw the horses in the appearance, and the ones sitting upon them, having fiery and hyacinth and sulfurous colored breastplates, and the heads of the horses as heads of lions, and out from their mouths go out fire and smoke and sulfur.

18 From these three plagues were killed the third of the men, out from the fire and the smoke and the sulfur going out from their mouths.

19 For the authority of the horses is in their mouth and in their tails, for their tails are similar to serpents, having heads, and in them they do harm.

20 And the rest of the men who were not killed in these plagues, did not even repent out from the works of their hands, in order that they will not bow down to the demons and the gold and the silver and the brass and the stone and the wood idols, which things are neither able to see nor to hear nor to walk.

21 And they did not repent out from their murders nor out from their drugs nor out from their prostitution nor out from their thefts.

CHAPTER 10

1 And I saw another strong angel descending out from the heaven wrapped with a cloud and the rainbow upon his head, and his face as the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire.

2 And having in his hand a little book open. And he placed his right foot upon the sea, and the left upon the earth.

3 And he cried with a great voice, just as a lion roars, and when he cried, the seven thunders spoke their voices.

4 And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write, and I heard a voice out from the heaven saying, “Seal which things the seven thunders spoke, and you might not write them.

5 And the angel whom I saw standing upon the sea, and upon the earth, raised his right hand into the heaven,

6 and swore in the One living into the ages of the ages, Who created the heaven and the things in it, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that time will be no longer.

7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he might be about to trumpet, and the mystery of God is completed, as He preached to His bondservants, the prophets.

8 And the voice which I heard out from the heaven again speaking with me and saying, “Go, take the opened book in the hand of the angel, the one standing upon the sea and upon the earth.”

9 And I went away toward the angel saying to him to give me the little book. And he said to me, “Take and devour it, and it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.”

10 And I took the little book out from the hand of the angel and devoured it, and it was in my mouth sweet as honey, and when I ate it, it made my stomach bitter.

11 And they say to me, “It is necessary for you to prophesy again upon many people and nations and tongues and kings.”

CHAPTER 11

1 And a reed similar to a rod was given to me, saying: Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar, and the ones worshiping in it.

2 And leave out the outside courtyard, the one outside of the temple you might not measure it, because it was given to the nations, and they will trample the holy city forty-two months.

3 And I will give to my two witnesses and they will prophesy a thousand two hundred sixty days, wrapped in sackcloth.

4 These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the Lord of the earth.

5 And since a certain one desires to harm them, then fire goes out from their mouth and devours their enemies. Even if a certain one might desire to harm them, then it is necessary to kill him so.

6 These have the authority to shut heaven, in order that rain might not rain the days of their prophecy, and they have authority upon the waters to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth in every plague as often as if they might desire.

7 And whenever they might complete their testimony, the beast ascending out from the abyss will make war with them and will conquer them and will kill them.

8 And their dead body will lie upon the street of the great city, which is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.

9 And those out from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations see their dead body three and a half days, and they do not release their dead bodies to be placed into a tomb.

10 And the ones dwelling upon the earth rejoice upon them and make merry, and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented the ones dwelling upon the earth.

11 And after the three and a half days, a spirit of life out from God entered in them, and they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell upon the ones beholding them.

12 And they heard a great voice out from the heaven saying to them: Ascend here! And they ascended into the heaven in the cloud, and their enemies beheld them.

13 And in that hour a great earthquake came to be, and the tenth of the city fell, and seven thousand names of men were killed in the earthquake, and the rest came to be terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

14 The second woe went away, behold, the third woe comes quickly.

15 And the seventh angel trumpeted, and a great voices came to be in the heaven, saying: The kingdom of the world came to be the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign into the ages of the ages.

16 And the twenty-four elders sitting upon their thrones before God, fell upon their faces and worshiped God,

17 saying: We give You thanks, O Lord God, the Almighty, the One being, and the One Who was, because You have received Your great power and reigned.

18 And the nations were angry, and Your wrath came, and the time of the dead to be judged, and to give the reward to Your bondservants the prophets and to the holy ones, and to the ones fearing Your name, the small and the great, and to destroy the ones destroying the earth.

19 And the temple of God in the heaven was opened, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple, and lightnings and sounds and thunders and an earthquake and a great hailstorm came to be.

CHAPTER 12

1 And a great sign was seen in heaven, a woman wrapped with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars,

2 and holding in womb, and she cries, suffering birth pain and travailing to give birth.

3 And another sign was seen in heaven, and behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his heads seven diadems.

4 And his tail drew the third of the stars of heaven, and he cast them into the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman, the one who is going to give birth, in order that whenever she might give birth, he might devour her child.

5 And she gave birth to a male son, who is about to shepherd all the nations in a rod of iron, and her child was snatched away toward God and toward His throne.

6 And the woman fled into the wilderness where she has there a place prepared from God, in order that they might nourish her there a thousand two hundred sixty days.

7 And war came to be in the heaven, Michael and his angels to make war with the dragon, and the dragon warred and his angels,

8 and was not strong enough, neither was a place found for them hereafter in the heaven.

9 And the great dragon was cast out, the ancient serpent, the one being called Devil and Satan, the one misleading the whole inhabited earth, he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10 And I heard a great voice in heaven, saying: Now came to be the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ, because the accuser of our brethren was cast out, the one accusing them before our God day and night.

11 And they conquered him through the blood of the Lamb and through the word of their testimony and they did not love their soul until death.

12 On account of this, rejoice heavens and the ones dwelling in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil descended toward you all, having great anger, knowing that he has little time.

13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast into the earth, he pursued the woman who gave birth to the male son.

14 And the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, in order that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished there for a time and times and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

15 And the serpent cast water as a river out from his mouth behind the woman, in order that he might make her sweep away.

16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed down the river which the dragon cast out from his mouth.

17 And the dragon was angry against the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, the ones keeping the commandments of God and having the testimony of Jesus

18 And he stood upon the sand of the sea.

CHAPTER 13

1 And I saw a beast ascending out from the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and upon its horns ten diadems, and upon its heads a name of blasphemy.

2 And the beast which I saw was similar to a leopard, and its feet as of a bear, and its mouth as a mouth of a lion, and the dragon gave to it his power and his throne and great authority.

3 And one out from its heads as slain into death, and the plague of its death was healed. And the whole earth was amazed after the beast.

4 And they worshiped the dragon because he gave authority to the beast, and they worshiped to the beast, saying: Who is similar the beast and who is able to make war with it?

5 And a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies was given to it, and authority was given to it to do forty-two months.

6 And it opened its mouth into blasphemies toward God to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, the ones dwelling in the heaven.

7 And authority was given to it to make war with the holy ones and to conquer them, and authority was given to it upon every tribe and people and tongue and nation.

8 And all the ones dwelling upon the earth will worship it, every one whose name has not been written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from a downcast of order.

9 Since a certain one has an ear, then let him hear.

10 Since a certain one goes into captivity, then into captivity he goes. Since a certain one is to be killed in a sword, then he is to be killed in a sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the holy ones.

11 And I saw another beast ascending out from the earth, and it was having two horns similar to a lamb, and it was speaking as a dragon.

12 And it does all the authority of the first beast before it, and it makes the earth and the ones dwelling in it, in order that they will worship the first beast, of which its plague of death was healed.

13 And it makes great signs, in order that it even might make fire to descend out from the heaven into the earth before men.

14 And it misleads the ones dwelling upon the earth through the signs which it was given to it to make before the beast, saying to the ones dwelling upon the earth to make an image to the beast which has the plague of the sword and lived.

15 And authority was given to it to give a spirit to the image of the beast, in order that even the image of the beast might speak, and in order that it might make if whosoever might not worship the image of the beast, then they might be killed.

16 And it makes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the pour, and the free and the bondservants, in order that they might give to them a mark upon their right hand or upon their forehead.

17 And in order that a certain one might not be able to buy or to sell except the one having the mark, the name of the beast or the number of its name.

18 Here is the wisdom, the one having a mind, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is a number of a man, and his number is six hundred sixty-six.

CHAPTER 14

1 And I saw, and behold, the Lamb stood upon the Mount Zion and with Him a hundred forty-four thousand, having His name and the name of His Father written upon their foreheads.

2 And I heard a voice out from the heaven as a sound of many waters and as a sound of great thunder, and the sound which I heard as a sound of harpists harping in their harps.

3 And they sing as a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders, and no one was able to learn the song except the hundred forty-four thousand, the ones purchased from the earth.

4 These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins, these are the ones following the Lamb wherever He goes, these were purchased from men, first fruit to God and to the Lamb.

5 And in their mouth was not found a lie, they are blameless.

6 And I saw another angel flying in midheaven, having a continuous gospel to preach upon the ones sitting upon the earth and upon every nation and tribe and tongue and people,

7 saying in a great voice: Fear God and give glory to Him, because the hour of His judgment came, and worship to the One having made the heaven and the earth and sea and springs of waters.

8 And another angel, a second one followed, saying: Babylon the great fell, fell, which caused all the nations to drink out from the wine of the anger of her prostitution.

9 And another angel, a third one followed with them, saying in a great voice: Since a certain one worships the beast and its image and receives a mark upon his forehead or upon his hand,

10 then he himself will also drink out from the wine of the anger of God, mixed undiluted in the cup of His wrath, and he will be tormented in fire and sulfur before holy angels and before the Lamb.

11 And then also the smoke of their torment ascends into ages of ages, and they do not have rest day and night, the ones worshiping the beast and its image, since a certain one receives the stamp of its name.

12 Here is the patience of the holy ones, the ones keeping the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

13 And I heard a voice out from the heaven saying: Write, blessed are the dead ones, the ones dying in the Lord from now. Yes, says the Spirit, in order that they will rest out from their labors, for their works follow with them.

14 And I saw, and behold, a white cloud, and sitting upon the cloud one like a son of man, having upon his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

15 And another angel came out from the temple crying in a great voice to the one sitting upon the cloud: Send your sickle and reap, because the hour to reap came, because the harvest of the earth dried.

16 And the one sitting upon the cloud cast his sickle upon the earth and the earth was reaped.

17 And another angel came out from the temple, the one in the heaven, having also his sharp sickle.

18 And another angel came out from the altar, having authority over fire, and called with a great voice to the one having the sharp sickle, saying: Send your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, because her grapes are ripe.

19 And the angel cast his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the wine press of the anger of the great God.

20 And the wine press was trodden outside the city, and blood came out from the wine press, up to the bridles of the horses from 1600 stadia.

CHAPTER 15

1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last plagues, because in them was completed the wrath of God.

2 And I saw as a glassy sea mixed with fire, and the ones conquering out from the beast and out from its image and out from the number of its name, standing upon the glassy sea, having harps of God.

3 And they sing the song of Moses, the bondservant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: Great and marvelous are Your works, O Lord God, the Almighty, righteous and true are Your ways, the King of the nations.

4 Who might absolutely not fear, O Lord, and will glorify Your name? Because You alone are Holy, because all the nations will come and worship before You, because Your ordinances were manifested.

5 And after these things I saw, and the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened.

6 And the seven angels, [[the ones]] having the seven plagues came out from the temple, clothed with pure bright linen, and girded around the breasts with a golden belt.

7 And one out from the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls, full of the anger of God, of the One living into the ages of the ages

8 And the temple was filled of smoke out from the glory of God and out from His power, and no one was able to enter into the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels might be completed.

CHAPTER 16

1 And I heard a great voice out from the temple, saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the seven bowls of the anger of God into the earth.”

2 And the first went away and poured out his bowl into the earth, and a bad and evil sore came to be upon men, the ones having the mark of the beast and the ones worshiping its image.

3 And the second poured out his bowl into the sea, and blood came to be as of a dead one, and every soul of life, the things in the sea, died.

4 And the third poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of waters, and they came to be blood.

5 And I heard the angel of the waters saying: You are righteous, the One being, and the One Who was, the Holy One, because You judged these things.

6 Because they poured out the blood of holy ones and prophets, and You have given to them blood to drink, they are worthy.

7 And I heard a voice of the altar saying: Yes, O Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.

8 And the fourth poured out his bowl upon the sun, and it was given to it to scorched men in fire.

9 And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God, the One having authority upon these plagues, and they did not repent to give Him glory.

10 And the fifth poured out his bowl upon the throne of the beast, and its kingdom came to be darkened, and they were chewing their tongues out from the pain.

11 And they blasphemed the God of heaven out from their pain and out from their sores, and they did not repent out from their works.

12 And the sixth poured out his bowl upon the great river, the Euphrates, and its water was dried up, in order that the way of the kings, the ones from the sunrise might be prepared.

13 And I saw out from the mouth of the dragon and out from the mouth of the beast and out from the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs,

14 for they are spirits of demons, making signs, which go out upon the kings of the whole inhabited earth, to gather them into the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.

15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is the one watching and keeping his garments, in order that he might not walk around naked and they might see his shame.

16 And they gathered them into the place being called in Hebrew Armageddon.

17 And the seventh poured out his bowl upon the air, and a great voice came out from the temple from the throne, saying: “It has come to be.”

18 And lightnings and sounds and thunders came to be, and a great earthquake came to be, such as has not came to be from of which time man came to be upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake and so great.

19 And the great city came to be into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell, and Babylon the great was remembered before God to give to her the cup of the wine of the anger of His wrath.

20 And every island fled and mountains were not found.

21 And great hail like weighing a talent descends out from the heaven upon men, and men blasphemed God out from the plague of the hail, because its plague is exceedingly great.

CHAPTER 17

1 And one out from the seven angels having the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying: Come, I will show to you the judgment of the great prostitute, the one sitting upon many waters,

2 with whom the kings of the earth prostituted, and the ones dwelling upon the earth were made drunk out from the wine of her prostitution.

3 And he carried me away into a wilderness in spirit, and I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

4 And the woman was wrapped in purple and scarlet and gilded with gold and precious stone and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and the unclean things of her prostitution.

5 And upon her forehead a name written, “Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of the Prostitutes and of the Abominations of the Earth.”

6 And I saw the woman drunk out from the blood of the holy ones and out from the blood of the witnesses of Jesus. And I marveled, having seen her, a great wonder.

7 And the angel said to me: On account of why did you marvel? I myself will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast carrying her, the one having the seven heads and the ten horns.

8 The beast which you saw was, and is not, and is about to ascend out from the abyss and goes into destruction, and the ones dwelling upon the earth will marvel, whose name has not been written on the book of life from a downcast of order, seeing the beast that was, and is not, and will come.

9 Here is the mind, the one having wisdom, the seven heads are seven mountains, where the woman sits upon them, and they are seven kings.

10 The five fell, one is, the other did not yet come, and when he might come, he must remain a little time.

11 And the beast which was and is not, and he himself is an eighth, and he is out from the seven, and into destruction he goes.

12 And the ten horns which you saw, they are ten kings, who did not yet receive a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings one hour with the beast.

13 These have one thought, and they give their power and authority to the beast.

14 These will war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, because He is Lord of Lords and King of Kings, and the ones with Him are called and chosen and faithful.

15 And he says to me: The waters which you saw where the prostitute sits, they are people and multitudes and nations and tongues.

16 And the ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the prostitute, and make her desolate and naked, and they will eat her flesh, and they will burn her in fire.

17 For God gave into their hearts to do His thought, and to do one thought, and to give their kingdom to the beast until the words of God will be completed.

18 And the woman which you saw is the great city, the one having a kingdom upon the kings of the earth.

CHAPTER 18

1 After these things I saw another angel descending out from the heaven having great authority, and the earth was enlightened out from his glory.

2 And he cried in a strong voice, saying: Fell, fell, Babylon the great, and she came to be a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean bird, [[and a prison of every unclean beast,]] and hateful thing.

3 Because all the nations have drunk out from of the wine of the anger of her prostitution, and the kings of the earth prostituted with her, and the merchants of the earth were enriched out from the power of her sensuality.

4 And I heard another voice out from the heaven, saying: Come out from her My people, in order that you might not fellowship with her sins, and in order that you might not receive out from her plagues.

5 Because her sins were joined as far as heaven, and God remembered her wrong.

6 Repay to her even as she repaid, and double the double, according to her works, in the cup which she mixed, mix to her double.

7 As much as she glorified herself and ran riot, so much torment and sorrow give to her, because she says in her heart that, I sit a queen and I am not a widow, and I might absolutely not see sorrow.

8 On account of this in one day will come her plagues, death and sorrow and hunger, and she will be burned in fire, because the Lord God is strong, the One having judged her.

9 And the kings of the earth, the ones having prostituted and having run riot with her, will weep and strike themselves over her whenever they might see the smoke of her burning,

10 standing from afar, on account of the fear of her torment, saying: Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon the strong city, because in one hour your judgment came.

11 And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn over her, because their cargo no one buys no longer.

12 Cargo of gold and silver and precious stone and pearls and fine linen and purple and silk and scarlet, and all cedar wood and every vessel of ivory and every vessel out from precious wood and copper and iron and marble,

13 and cinnamon and Indian spice and incense and perfume and frankincense and wine and oil and fine flour and grain and cattle and sheep and horses and chariots and bodies and souls of men.

14 And your fruit of the lust of the soul went from you, and all the shiny and bright things perished away from you, and they will absolutely not find them no longer.

15 The merchants of these things, the ones having become rich from her, will stand from afar, on account of the fear of her torment, weeping and mourning,

16 saying: Woe, woe, the great city, the one wrapped in fine linen and purple and scarlet and gilded in gold and precious stone and pearl,

17 because in one hour so much riches was laid waste. And every shipmaster and every one sailing upon a place, and sailors and as many as work the sea, stood from afar,

18 and were crying, seeing the smoke of her burning, saying: What is like the great city?

19 And they cast dust upon their heads and were crying, weeping and mourning, saying: Woe, woe, the great city, in which all the ones having the ships in the sea were enriched out from her worth, because in one hour she was laid waste.

20 Rejoice over her, O heaven, and the holy ones and the apostles and the prophets, because God judged your judgment out from her.

21 And one strong angel raised a stone, as a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying: So will Babylon, the great city, be cast with violence, and might absolutely not be found hereafter.

22 And the sound of harpists and musicians and flute players and trumpeters might absolutely not be heard in you hereafter, and every craftsman of every craft might absolutely not be found in you hereafter, and the sound of a millstone might absolutely not be heard in you hereafter,

23 and the light of a lamp might absolutely not shine in you hereafter, and the voice of a bridegroom and bride might absolutely not be heard in you hereafter, because your merchants were great men of the earth, because in your drug were all the nations misled. 24 And in her was found the blood of prophets and holy ones and all the ones slain upon the earth.

CHAPTER 19

1 After these things I heard as a great voice of a large multitude in heaven, saying: Hallelujah! The salvation and the glory and the power of our God.

2 Because His judgments are true and righteous, because He judged the great prostitute which was corrupting the earth in her prostitution, and He avenged the blood of His bondservants out from her hand.

3 And a second time they have said: Hallelujah! And her smoke ascends into the ages of the ages.

4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell and worshiped God, the One sitting upon the throne, saying: Amen! Hallelujah!

5 And a voice came out from the throne, saying: Praise to our God, all His bondservants, and the ones fearing Him, the small and the great.

6 And I heard as a voice of a large multitude and as a sound of many waters, and as a sound of strong thunder, saying: Hallelujah, because the Lord God, the Almighty, reigned.

7 Let us rejoice and exult and give the glory to Him, because the wedding of the Lamb came, and His wife prepared herself.

8 And it was given to her, in order that she might be wrapped with fine linen, bright and clean, for the fine linen is the ordinances of the holy ones.

9 And he says to me, “Write: Blessed are the ones called into the supper of the wedding of the Lamb.” And he says to me, “These are the true words of God.”

10 And I fell in-front of his feet to worship him. And he says to me, “See not? I am your fellow-bondservant and of your brethren, the ones having the testimony of Jesus. Worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of the prophecy.

11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse, and the one sitting upon it [[being called]] faithful and true, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.

12 Moreover, His eyes are a flame of fire, and upon His head many diadems, having a name written which no one knows except Him,

13 and wrapped with a garment dipped in blood, and His name has been called the Word of God.

14 And the armies in heaven were following Him upon white horses, clothed with fine linen, white and clean.

15 And out from His mouth goes a sharp sword, in order that in it He might strike the nations, and He will shepherd them in a rod of iron, and He treads the wine press of the wine, of the anger of the wrath of God, the Almighty.

16 And He has upon His garment and upon His thigh a name written: King of kings and Lord of lords.

17 And I saw one angel standing in the sun, and he cried in a great voice, saying to all the birds flying in midheaven: Come, gather into the great supper of God,

18 in order that you might eat flesh of kings and flesh of commanders and flesh of strong ones and flesh of horses and the ones sitting upon them and flesh of all, both free ones and bondservants and small and great.

19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered to make war with the One sitting upon the horse and with His army.

20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet, the one having made the signs before him, in which were misled the ones having received the mark of the beast and the ones worshiping his image. The two were cast living into the lake of fire, the one burning in sulfur.

21 And the rest were killed in the sword out from His mouth of the One sitting upon the horse, and all the birds were filled out from their flesh.

CHAPTER 20

1 And I saw an angel descending out from the heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain upon his hand.

2 And he seized the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.

3 And he cast him into the Abyss, and shut and sealed it above him, in order that he might not mislead the nations any longer, until the thousand years might be completed. After these things, it is necessary for him to be loosed a short time.

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them, and the souls of the ones beheaded on account of the testimony of Jesus and on account of the word of God, and whoever did not worship the beast nor his image, and did not receive the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand, and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

5 The rest of the dead ones did not live until the thousand years might be completed, this is the first resurrection.

6 Blessed and holy is the one having a part in the first resurrection, over these the second death has not authority, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him a thousand years.

7 And when the thousand years might be completed, Satan will be loosed out from his prison,

8 and he will come out to mislead the nations, the ones in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them into war, of which the number of them is as the sand of the sea.

9 And they ascended upon the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the holy ones and the beloved city, and fire descended out from the heaven and devoured them.

10 And the devil, the one misleading them, was cast into the lake of fire and sulfur, where also the beast and the false prophet are, and they will be tormented day and night into the ages of the ages.

11 And I saw a great white throne, and the One sitting upon it, from Whose face the earth and the heaven fled, and a place was not found for them.

12 And I saw the dead ones, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened, and another book was opened, which is of life, and the dead ones were judged out from the things written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead ones, the ones in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead ones, the ones in them, and they were each judged according to their works.

14 And death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of the fire.

15 And since a certain one was not found written in the book of life, then he was cast into the lake of fire.

CHAPTER 21

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth departed, and the sea is not any longer.

2 And I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, descending out from the heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out from the throne, saying: Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them.

4 And He will wipe every tear out from their eyes, and death will not be any longer, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor pain will not be any longer, because the first things departed.

5 And the One sitting upon the throne said: Behold, I make all things new. And He says: Write, because these words are faithful and true.

6 And He said to me: They have come to be. I Myself am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give to the one thirsting out from the spring of water of life freely.

7 The one conquering will inherit these things, and I will be God to him, and he himself will be to Me a son.

8 But to the cowardly and unfaithful and abominable and murderers and prostitutes and drug users and idolaters and all the liars, their part is in the lake burning with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.

9 And one out from the seven angels, of the ones having the seven bowls being filled of the last seven plagues came and spoke with me, saying: Come, I will show to you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.

10 And he carried me away in spirit upon a great and high mountain, and showed to me the city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out from the heaven from God.

11 Having the glory of God. Her light similar to a precious stone, as a jasper stone, clear as crystal.

12 Having a great and high wall, having twelve gates, and upon the gates twelve angels, and names inscribed, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel.

13 From the east, three gates, and from the north, three gates, and from the south, three gates, and from the west, three gates.

14 And the wall of the city, having twelve foundations, and upon them twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb

15 And the one speaking with me was holding a golden measure rod, in order that he might measure the city and its gates and its wall.

16 And the city lies square, and the length of it is as great as the width, and he measured the city with the rod, upon twelve thousand stadia, the length and the width and the height of it are equal.

17 And he measured its wall, a hundred forty-four cubits, a measure of a man, which is, of an angel.

18 And the material of its wall was jasper, and the city was pure gold, similar to clear glass.

19 The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every precious stone, the first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald;

20 the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, carnelian; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst.

21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, each one. Each of the gates was out from one pearl, and the street of the city was pure gold, as transparent glass.

22 And I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God, the Almighty, is its temple, and the Lamb.

23 And the city does not have need of the sun, not even the moon, in order that they might shine in it, for the glory of God did enlighten it, and the Lamb is its lamp.

24 And the nations will walk through its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory into it.

25 And its gates might absolutely not be shut by day, for night will not be there.

26 And they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.

27 And every unclean thing might absolutely not enter into it, and the one making abomination and a lie, except the ones written in the book of life of the Lamb.

CHAPTER 22

1 And he showed to me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, coming out from the throne of God and the Lamb.

2 In the midst of its street, and on this side and that side of the river, a tree of life, making twelve fruits, giving its fruit according to each month, and the leaves of the tree are into healing of the nations.

3 And everything curse will not be any longer, and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bondservants will serve Him.

4 And they will see His face, and His name will be upon their heads.

5 And night will not be any longer, and they do not have need of light of a lamp and light of a sun, because the Lord God will enlighten upon them, and they will reign into the ages of the ages.

6 And he said to me: These words are faithful and true, and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets sent His angels to show to His bondservants which things must to come to be in quickness.

7 And behold, I come quickly. Blessed is the one keeping the words of the prophecy of this book.

8 And I, John, am the one hearing and seeing these things, and when I heard and I saw, I fell to worship before the feet of the angel, the one showing to me these things.

9 And he says to me: See not? I am your fellow-bondservant and of your brethren the prophets and the ones keeping the words of this book. Worship to God.

10 And he says to me: You might not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.

11 The one doing wrong, let him do wrong still, and the filthy one, let him be filthy still, and the righteous one, let him do righteousness still, and the holy one, let him be holy still.

12 Behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to each one as his work is.

13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

14 Blessed are the one washing their robes, in order that their authority will be upon the tree of life, and they might enter by the gates into the city.

15 Outside are dogs and drug users and prostitutes and murders and idolaters and everyone loving and making a lie.

16 I, Jesus, sent My angel to testify to you these things upon the assemblies. I Myself am the Root and the Race of David, the bright morning Star.

17 And the Spirit and the bride say: Come. And the one hearing, let him say: Come. And the one thirsting, let him come, the one desiring, let him take water of life freely.

18 I myself testify to everyone hearing the words of the prophecy of this book: if a certain one might add upon them, then God will add upon him the plagues, the ones written in this book.

19 And if a certain one might take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, then God will take away his part from the tree of life and out from the holy city, the things written in this book.

20 The One testifying these things says: Yes, I come quickly. Amen. Come Lord Jesus.

21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all.
